The Thanksgiving Investor's Group Annual Alzheimer's Walk & Run

As Thanksgiving approaches, we need to give ‘thanks’ to those who matter most and help those in need. At Aspen Care, we want to remember our clients and loved ones by participating in the Investor’s Group annual Alzheimer’s Walk & Run.

Dementia affects over 13,000 people in Calgary, with the most common type being Alzheimer’s disease. This number skyrockets if you include the caregivers, family, and friends of those living with dementia. Many people are affected by this disease, and we at Aspen Care help educate, care and try to improve the lives of those affected. (Source)

Investors Group presents this year’s Alzheimer’s Walk & Run in Calgary, on Thanksgiving Sunday at Eau Claire Market (200 Barclay Parade SW, Calgary, AB). Registration begins at 8 am, with warm-up starting at 9:30 am, and kickoff at 10 am. Please support this wonderful cause by signing up for either the 5 km walk or run, or for those ambitious types, the 10 km run. Registration costs $35, or $10 for seniors and children. Support your loved one, or those affected by Alzheimer's disease, or simply support the community on October 7th in the Alzheimer Walk & Run. All of the funds raised for this event go to providing education, care, and support for impacted families in Calgary and the surrounding areas. The event ends with plenty of time to spare, so you can spend time with your family and prepare for your thanksgiving dinners.
